BROCCOLI CRACK
Sexy Veg, ep. 1 - lemon, garlic and parmesan broccoli
Making veggies sexy, starting with broccoli - this one coated in lemon, parmesan and garlic and it’s SO GOOD. My kids are obsessed.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds broccoli florets (~2 large head broccoli), cut into 1½-inch pieces
2 tbsp olive oil divided
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice from ½ a lemon
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Set oven to 425*F Wash and cut your broccoli
Toss the brocc with olive oil, S&P, and roast for 6 mins
While it’s cooking, zest your lemon, juice it, and mince your garlic (and grate your parm if using fresh!)
Take the broccoli out after 6 mins, and toss on the lemon juice, zest, garlic and half the parm
Cook for another 8 mins
Once it’s done, take out and top with the rest of the parm
Enjoy!
